Our Very own Success Story with Kickstart

The Wise Recruitment Group became a Gateway to the Kickstart Scheme in 2020 and we have been supporting companies in finding suitable potential Kickstarters across a wide range of roles and seen some incredible success stories with young people joining companies, building in confidence, learning new skills and contributing to the success of a wide range of businesses.

We decided, as a Company to do the same!  We looked at the different divisions and locations of our business and chose to offer 4 Kickstarters the opportunity to train in recruitment, across a wide range of administrative and customer service tasks.

Our first recruit was Molly.  Molly joined our Exeter Office and had been seeking an administrative role where she would receive training, gain knowledge and skills that would give her a strong platform in order to find administrative work in the future.

Molly joined us, a little under confident but with enthusiasm and keenness and a want to learn. 

The recruitment industry is very admin orientated with a lot of processes and procedures that are compliance checked regularly both internally and externally and so, Molly undertook her initial induction in to the world of recruitment!

Molly has received ongoing training in many aspects of our day to day work from inputting of candidates details onto our database, reference checking,  resourcing of candidates for specific roles, compliance checking of registration packs to ensure all required documentation is present and assisting and supporting our recruitment team.   However…. It doesn’t stop there!  Molly had not been interested in telephone work and had been a little under-confident in dealing with enquiries or speaking  to prospective clients or candidates face to face…..there is now no stopping her! 

Molly’s confidence and skill base have grown beyond our expectations but not only that, Molly has become an integral part of the Exeter Team. 

Molly has helped other potential Kickstarter by making a video that has been shared with DWP Work Coaches to attract other young people into the Recruitment Industry.  Please click on the link below:
