Insurance Underwriter of Life & Disability Insurance, salary up to £40,000, Hybrid Role, Enviable Benefits Package which includes:

This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Life & Disability Insurance Underwriter, you will be responsible for evaluating and assessing insurance applications to determine coverage and premiums. You will work closely with Brokers, Agents, and Clients to analyse risk factors and make informed decisions to protect the company's interests.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Minimum 3 years experience working as an Underwriter in the insurance industry
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Sound knowledge of insurance principles and underwriting guidelines

As an experienced Underwriter you will have:                        

• Certifications in underwriting such as ACII or CII
• Experience in underwriting complex commercial or specialty risks
• Knowledge of reinsurance principles
• Must have the right to work in the UK.

To achieve the higher salary you will need to demonstrate your ability to meet the key criteria of the role by past experience and during the interview process.
