We have an excellent new opportunity for an experienced Insurance Account Manager to join one of our highly reputable clients in Sheffield.

Based in Sheffield, Full time, this is a Permanent position paying up to £40K DOE.

DUTIES 

As the newly appointed Insurance Account Executive, you will be responsible for sales support activity to develop and implement new and existing business, including client meetings, telephone account management, CRM and library updates. 

You will support the development of a pipeline of new business opportunities, identifying areas for growth and supporting other departments as and when necessary to help drive business. 

As an Insurance Account Executive, you will field calls and assist with enquiries as necessary, ensuring that all communication is recorded and that the CRM system is well maintained.

In addition, you will follow company and underwriting procedures for development and on-boarding, whilst liaising with Operations, to ensure broker records/agreements/rates are maintained and accessible in an efficient manner

REQUIREMENTS 

As an Insurance Account Executive, you will have extensive experience within the Insurance Sector.

In order to be considered, applicants must come from an insurance business or insurance broker, and have relevant business development experience. 

You will also have: 

  • Ability to competently plan work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to listen to clients and customers and communicate effectively
  • Sound knowledge of insurance and FCA compliance requirements
  • Experience of investigating and resolving issues
  • Ability to work to high levels of accuracy, using own initiative
  • Strong computer skills, including the use of Excel and other Office 360 applications
  • A full driving licence is not essential but would be advantageous
