Part Time Goods In/Goods Out Technician!

Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a flexible individual who is looking to work Part Time for a well known and well established Music business 

The role will be to support two current team members on a Monday and Tuesday - 9am to 5pm - 14 hours per week.

However, there may be a requirement for 3 days per week shortly and there will also be 8 weeks of full time holiday cover.

The role is looking for a bright and keen individual who has great attention to detail and you will be helping with the goods arriving on site and the goods being despatched.

Typical duties will include:

Goods In

Receiving incoming goods and checking against order receipt

Logging goods onto the sytem

Allocating the goods to their respective place in the stores/warehouse

Keeping check of stock

Despatch

Picking the items to be despatched

Packing goods neatly and carefully to ensure the items are not damaged or scratched.

Printing off the despatch labels and labelling the items neatly and clearly ready to be sent out.

Arranging collections etc with couriers and delivery companies

General stores/warehouse duties 

This position would be absolutely ideal for an Open University Student who can carry out day work or you may be a parent seeking part time work (flexibility in break times can be arranged) or you may be semi retired or just wanting part time hours!!  No experience is required in working within a warehouse but you will need to be able to learn quickly, understand systems and have great organisational ability and able to focus and look at the finer detail.

Apart from the salary there will be holiday and pension and the position is being considered on a temporary to permanent or permanent basis.
