Programme Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a very special Programme Manager to join a leading organisation, within their HQ in Maidenhead.

This is a hybrid role and will require a set number of days working in the Maidenhead town centre offices.

The role is offered on a 12 month FTC, receiving 20 days holiday plus the Bank Holidays (pro rata), after 12 weeks the holiday will rise to 25 days’ holiday plus the Bank Holidays (pro rata). 

The Programme Manager will be responsible for overseeing 2 key projects, relating to the business's main operational systems. 

The projects are already under way and now require your expertise to ensure they are successfully delivered, implemented and embedded!

You will be overseeing 2 highly experienced Project Managers – and you will act as the “arch” across these projects, offering governance and guidance while managing senior stakeholders and suppliers and ensuring that the projects are on track against time lines, budgets and agreed scope.

Reporting to the Head of Project Management, you will hold responsibility for:

• The delivery of multiple projects, ensuring each is on time and within budget
• Continuous monitoring against implementation plans, updating and reporting with the project management team
• Identification of any financial or operational risks or issues affecting the programme and the business.
• Ensuring that your team, all stakeholders, business partners etc. are informed at all times.
• Responsible for chairing meetings and championing the Companies governance and business practices and processes.

Requirements :

The successful Candidate will be a recognised Project and Programme Management Practitioner with a wealth of experience and expertise in this field.

You will have recent experience of managing programmes across multiple locations and will understand the intricacies of managing a highly experienced and talented project management team.
