We are currently seeking a hard-working and motivated Electrical Maintenance Technician to join one of the biggest names in the Waste Water and Waste Management industry. 

The role will be based on site in Peterborough and the working hours are: Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 4pm. 

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will support the Plant Operations team by carrying out electrical maintenance on mobile water treatment equipment. You will work to maintain electrical control systems in containers, trailers and skids. This will include lighting, direct on-line, instrumentation, pumps and motors, etc...

As part of this role, you will also be responsible for a range of general maintenance tasks and regeneration operations. 

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician , you will troubleshoot and find faults in control systems (PLC's, SCADA, DCS etc) through reactive and preventative maintenance, whilst providing electrical and PLC support to the plant and assembly team. 

Requirements:

• Experience in industrial electrical works
• Natural troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• In depth understanding of EHS and quality awareness 
• Ability to produce documentation/ drawings for the plant PLC 
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Beneficial Qualifications and experience:

• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations 
• NVQ3 in Electrical based units
• Drawing software knowledge
